This whole Jimmy G thing may be the luckiest thing for Brock. He gets to be second string for basically the whole season so he gets practice reps and a a few mop up reps in games. He is getting some very solid work for a low draft pick. Whether he ever starts are not, this could put him in the chase Daniel or colt McCoy area and last a long time as the seasoned, economical back-up for 10-12 years.
