NFL: ***2022 NFL Season Thread***

Montgomery was wide open 2 plays in a row and Fields never looked his direction. Zoned in on Mooney 3 plays in a row and they lose. Lol.
Fields sucks. He can run. So can Montgomery. So can Herbert. Don't see them playing QB. Who is the top QB prospect in college this year? WR? Looks like the Bears will have the number one pick.

Fields just isn’t a starting QB in the nfl. Not going to workout.
Imagine drafting an Ohio State QB. Justin Fields:
Career
2 wins 8 losses
58.1 % completion
2,549 yards
10 TDs
14 Ints
73.2 Rating

Is it Wyoming Josh Allen
Tex Tech Mahomes
So Miss Favre

I think you're missing the point. The point I take from that is it might be wise to highly draft a QB that looks incredible at a school like Ohio State that has every competitive advantage you could ask for.

Ohio State's offense in 2019 and where they are now:
QB- Fields (Bears)
RB- JK Dobbins (Ravens)
WR- Garrett Wilson (Jets)
WR- Chris Olave (Saints)
WR- Jameson Williams (Lions)
And multiple OL and TE's that are currently or have gotten some run in the league.

There's a lot of well below average NFL QB's that would look great in that kind of an offense, especially when half your games are against ****** bottom of the barrel Big Ten schools

Fields takes a lot of of the blame, and he’s not good, but the only person that isn’t a complete disaster out there is David. His supporting cast is a bunch of guys who’d be riding the bench anywhere else.

Mooney is solid IMO, but the next two WR options being Dante Pettis and ISM tells you all you need to know about the Bears offense

He definitely has a ton of room to improve, but he's not getting help at all. Watching that game last night, and it was shocking how bad their pass protection was. And then knowing how bad it was, I don't understand some of the play calls, that featured deep dropbacks and down field reads. Fields definitely holds onto the ball too long, but knowing that they can't protect him, there are ways to scheme around that, and there just didn't seem to be much of that in the game plan.
