NFL: ***2022 NFL Season Thread***

Not a Packers fan, but I miss when that would be a touchdown.
I don't know that it ever would have. It was ruled an incomplete on the field because the ball popped out. He hadn't established possession yet. It would have taken a ref making the wrong call and then no opportunity for replay for that to have been a TD

Definitely would have been in like the 70's, if it hit the receivers hands it was a catch back then basically.

Sure doesn't suck to see New England at 1-3.
Yep, I know there are no moral victories in the NFL, especially for the Pats, but I thought that was a pretty gritty effort by them with playing a rookie 3rd string QB most of the game.

Very true. And they had their chance with the ball in GB territory in overtime. In my opinion, that was 4 down territory. You don't give the ball back to Aaron Rodgers, in Green Bay, in a next score wins situation. We've all seen that script play out before

Mahomes is amped up on the sideline.
I was trying to read his lips and it almost looking like he was saying "make them cry."

For Tampa to only be down 11 at halftime is kind of shocking. This game feels so one-sided

Chiefs got too blitz crazy there on that last drive. Feels like a game the offense will need to score every possession. Brady killing the chiefs over the middle

Tonight, I wanted to show my kids some of the "old" Sunday/Monday night intros.

We found one on YouTube from about 20 years ago, had Tom Brady in it.

Switched back to tonight game -- oh hey, look! Tom Brady.

It's weird to think that his first couple years overlapped with Jerry Rice's last few years.

Looks to me like he should have been a no go on Sunday at least based on gross instability, but likely team physicians said he could go anyway using that wishy washy asterisk there.

Looks like they eliminated the asterisk. That asterisk was going to (and probably already has) cause someone brain damage.

Anyway, that was a pretty good Sunday of football. Loved seeing Breece get that TD, and Lazard making some big plays. Mahomes looking ridiculous. Every time I see him make those plays I look back at us beating his college team in disbelief.

Starting to think Justin Fields is a bust, but the Bears are a Jets-level **** show. Hard to be sure lol.
