NFL: ***2022 NFL Season Thread***

Tonight, I wanted to show my kids some of the "old" Sunday/Monday night intros.

We found one on YouTube from about 20 years ago, had Tom Brady in it.

Switched back to tonight game -- oh hey, look! Tom Brady.

It's weird to think that his first couple years overlapped with Jerry Rice's last few years.

20ish years is basically what, 3 generations or eras of NFL players?

This is one of those difficult to believe things- Seattle-Detroit score was the first 48-45 final in NFL history.
 
Statistically, Geno Smith is having a better season than Russel Wilson.
I wouldn't say I called it, but it doesn't really surprise me that much. Wilson's style of play relies on athletic ability much more so than say Brady or even Manning. Most everyone saw Wilson's ability decline. I'm sure he will have a game or two where he pulls it off, but largely he's an average QB now.
