Anyone know the injuries that were sustained by the two players on the same play...punt return...collision near the goal line? I saw it happen but then was unable to watch the rest of the game. That was a violent collision. Hope they are both OK...wow!

It was a kickoff return. The Cardinals guy is lucky to still be able to walk. Those are the kind of plays that will completely eliminate kickoffs from the game.

Thanks...that's right...a kickoff...I was shocked how fast that Cardinal player got down the field. Unfortunately he was so fast he almost seemed unable to control the angle with which he made the hit. It was awkward and scary!

Well Cardinals beat up on the Rams on their home field and hell the Lions even gave them a pretty good game this past week so lets not act like they are a sure thing. As I said I think they are a good team but my worry with the Rams is they are a top heavy roster. If they don't have key injuries they are in good shape but if they do think it could hurt them worse than some of the other top contenders. Also don't think they will have a better record than the Packers due to the Division they are in so more than likely have to go to cold-ass Lambeau again like last year. Give me the Packers once again in that scenario.

The Lions basically pulled out all the stops to try to show up Stafford on his new home field. It was literally 10-0 before Stafford even stepped on the field and took his first snap - and it took an onside kick and a fake punt to get there.

That also wasn't the first time the Lions made a contender look bad this year - it literally took a record-breaking field goal for the Ravens to beat the Lions, and the Vikings also had to kick a very long field goal to win as well (no idea whether the Vikings are a contender or not, but they're better than the Lions).
