I'm a huge draft nerd so I have no room to talk, but I just don't get the fascination with schedule releases.

It’s so the media has something to talk about. I just heard on the radio that Russell Wilson’s first game will be at Seattle on MNF.

I enjoy it just to see what the National Primetime/Holiday games will be.

I can also really see why season ticket holders want it so they can get their calendar set. Also for those that want to plan a trip (home or away) to go see their favorite team play.
