I don't know about "can't"... probably a LOT less likely just giving blood... but when I gave plasma they hooked up a bag of saline solution to put back in my veins. There were always tiny air bubbles in the lines that I stared at... I know it's rare but I believe they even tell you about the risk when you sign up to give plasma.

I'm no medical expert though. Just have a bit of medical anxiety.

Kind of shocked it's going on as scheduled given SF had to shut their team facility down. Really want to pick GB in the cf nfl survival game but bad things seem to happen when gb has to go out there.
