NFL: 2018 NFL Draft

Why the **** would you want Lazard to go undrafted?

No ****. Maybe he loves the Vikes more than the Cyclones? Lazard earned the opportunity to be drafted and get some guaranteed money and commitment from a team. Most UDFAs don't make it past training camp.

If I were Cleveland's GM, I'd take Barkley #1, Chubb #4 and see if you can trade up for a late first round pick to take Rudolph. Tyrod Taylor is a decent enough QB to bridge the gap for a couple years.

Prediction: Allen Lazard gets drafted by the Indianapolis Colts.

I don't hate this in the slightest. With a healthy Luck they aren't too far from the top of their division and Lazard will have someone to throw to him and someone on the staff who knows what he can do when given the opportunity.

Tyrod is decent, but are there that many teams that think Rudolph is a potential franchise QB? If there were he'd be talked about in the top half of the draft.

I think Cleveland would be setting themselves up to be drafting another first round QB in a few years in that scenario.

There are multiple teams who think that the top 3 or 4 QBs are real franchise caliber QBs. If Cleveland passes them up for a project like Rudolph, they will be highly criticized.

QB is just too important to an NFL team. That's why every year teams reach for the chance to find one. If you have that #1 or #4 pick and one is available, it's hard to pass.

Hell I heard people saying the Browns should draft 2 QBs at 1 and 4 and let them fight it out. Then trade the other in a year or two.

Maybe. He has yet to resume throwing an actual football. I think he'll get all the way back but I've been burned enough by now that I'll believe it when I see it.

I get that, but drafting QB's so high is such a crapshoot. Most draft boards have Barkley and Chubb as the 2 top prospects; that's a pretty good way to start to change things there.

I hope so. He seems like one of the nicer guys in the league. And I've liked the Colts for a while, back to when they had Marshall Faulk.

You'd have to LOVE Rudolph to pass on the top 5 QBs. And there's no guarantee you could trade back into the first to get him.

Look at the Rams, Eagles, and Texans. They all brought in a top rated QB and their teams are in better positions (health willing) than they were before.

Would love Baker going first as a Broncos fan. Him and Allen are my least favorite players at the top.

Lots of rumors going around Denver is trying to trade to #2 to get Darnold
