how can they sweep if only two per country are allowed to move on?
Pretty sure you only need 1 person to win a gold medal.

I didn't realize handball was a contact sport!Big shot to the midsection in women's handball. It's a kind of wild game. Romania is somewhat brutal but still losing.

handball is entertaining it's like basketball+ice hockey.
i asked why they don't all do the same routine.
asking why something is the way it is and saying it should change are not the same thing. relax.
I could be wrong but didn't they used to have compulsory moves in gymnastics? At least I think they did in men's gymnastics. You could do your routine any way you wanted but had to include certain moves.
I didn't get this reference so I had to look it up, can't believe i don't remember something from HIMYM
Stevie Johnson and Jack Sock at least redeem American men's tennis a little bit.
And is anyone but me watching any Olympics that isn't girls gymnastics that isn't even on right now?![]()
Work has the website to watch them blocked.![]()
Anyone else envisioning carvers as a crowd shot at a tennis match:Well that just sucks. Doing laundry with tennis in the laundry room and handball in the living room.
Anyone else envisioning carvers as a crowd shot at a tennis match:
Left, right, left, right, left, wince...
Left, right, left, right, cheer...
And so on...

I felt the same way at a couple of wrestling meets. One time, my son (JV wrestler at 170) decided to wrestle the other team's heavyweight (since our heavyweight didn't exist). I saw the other kid come out to the mat, and he was at damn near the max allowable weight. All I could think of was "oh please, don't fall on my son".Several of my boys have competed at state tennis. At those, a lot of times my eyes are closed and I think I'm gonna puke.
One of them went through three racquets in a year. Broken frames. And they aren't cheap. The last one he broke was trying to return serve against some guy at districts who went on to play division I football. I was just hoping he didn't take an overhead in the face from that guy.
