A late 20's guy I know who got it lost 20 lbs, was in the hospital for 5 days and now that he is home he is still using a portable breathing machine.

Meanwhile, he gave it to his wife who had no symptoms and gave it to his mom who was sick as a dog for 3 days then perfectly fine.

This why it’s so crazy. Wife has a co-worker (different location) that her whole family tested positive. The lady had a severe headache for 2 days, no fever, no body aches and then was fine. Her daughter had a little upset stomach and ran a mild fever for a few days. Her husband however has been down for 14 days with a fever, body aches, chills, breathing difficulties at times.

I'd imagine it's due to a lack of lung donors moreso than it's rarity of efficacy but I'm not a doctor

Wow, finding a matching lung donor in that short of time is quite remarkable. Often this takes a very long time because of many factors. My nephew's wife received a double lung transplant and waited a long time.

Yeah organ donation...can't remember all the logistics but it's not age or financial dependent on who gets the transplant done. I think it's just who got on the list first.

Walter Peyton is a prime example of someone who simply couldn't find a donor in time.

I believe there are some critical situations where you can get bumped up on the list, but they are extremely rare occurrences.

I don’t know. But the way, Jamie has explained things before makes it sound like the 21 players would be out.

and I agree that it makes it awfully hard to have a season.
