We didn't know d*** right at the beginning because we didn't trust anything coming from China, our head executive downplayed the thing altogether and also chose to ignore info given to us by the WHO, which at the time was mainly working in... China.Just not true. It was known from the start that corona hit the elderly and the chronically ill extremely hard. LTCs locked down right at the start and received very little help from the government.
And, yet again, we still had nowhere else to put those sick people. Nobody else wanted them. Not families' homes, not hospitals, not out in the street. Nowhere to go. I'm not saying it's the right thing to do, but it sure seems like the many who complain about it don't have better suggestions, and that wasn't something we could wait forever to make a decision on.
Correct. There's no room for discussion when the crowd equates occasionally wearing masks with cowering in our homes and closing the entire country down. But when we do, we get attacked as "hiding in our bedroom" and being "afraid" by the "back to normal" crowd who can't be bothered to take the slightest inconvenience for the lives of those who are at risk.
