There is your cue to move to Bluesky.
This is the attitude that will keep up mediocre. Go fight those bullies and let’s win. Even that wont shut them up, but at least we are in a position to push back.

OK, maybe this doesn't deserve a thread of its own, but I went to ISU in the 90s and we won 10 games combined in my 4 years in Ames. I had season tickets in the 0-10-1 season.

Pretty amazing that we have won that in one season.

What Matt Campbell has done here is just short of a miracle to me. It's a great time to be a Cyclone!
CMC has now become the wins leader, had a first round pick and won 10 games. Incredible

I just wanna put the linebacking situation into perspective.

I’ve been a Cyclone fan a long time. Over that period, I’ve noticed good teams with no depth whatsoever. Being forced to play even a sixth OL (usually a walkon) was stretching things to the breaking point.

The linebacking “corps” was another prime example. I’d watch multiple groups of starters play well, knowing full well that if one went down, we were doomed.

Take Alvin Bowen’s group, for example. And they never went down, never had that hurdle to clear.

Now, our linebacking room has not one, not two, but SIX or more guys hurt. Maybe it was just the law of averages catching up?

And Matt Campbell’s program still manages a ten win season, with only the two hiccups when the injuries got too much.

This is the stuff of legend.

Anyone got a spot for the statue picked out?

I'm pretty sure it was more of a joke, but either way, there's reason to try and reason with those morons on Twitter

Hard to know. It's tough for any team to go 11-1 or 12-0. Hell, it's hard to go 10-2.
Agreed, but also, yes, I think it does. We lost by 1 point to Tech. Now, we made a ton of mistakes in that game but is a healthy Bacon worth one point?

Hell, if Jack or Will come back and are full 100% participants in that game, I think that's worth 1 point.

You are incredibly accurate in how hard it is. But that game, that last drive... Bacon / Will / Jack with the way he was playing to end the year... if 1 or 2 of them are on the field... I feel like, our odds if nothing else on that last drive improve to where potentially they don't score that late TD.

The Kansas game.. I'll say we lose, cause who knows. But Tech? I could see having 1-2 of those guys back or close to 100% making enough of a slight difference. Yeah, we gave up a lot versus Cincy and Utah but its been

Since those 2 really started playing and of course Big Citrus.

Was 35,23,45 the three weeks previous. So while 23 is not bad for us against Tech... I'll say yeah. That one, since they went on that late drive.. its possible.

Lol, first 10 win season, you have stormed the field and ...you are checking your phone...live in the moment!

Societal problem. If you go to an art museum nobody even looks at the art anymore, just holding their phone up to it.

Honestly, I wanted the 10 wins more than playing in Arlington. If Houston would have won last night, I wouldn't be any less happy (and would be less poor). To me it is just checking another box...no 1st round draft picks? Check. No 10 win seasons? Check. Might as well check the no conference titles in a million years box too. And if you get that one, you get a playoff appearance.

My wife had her phone out, but she was taking videos and pictures of my 12 year old and his friend who we took to his first CFB game this season.

People like pictures. Don’t get this at all.
