Audi Crooks to Transfer

I haven't watched it but for anyone that has, would the Unrivaled league be a better fit for Audi than the WNBA? I would image a 3v3 with no running down the court be in her wheelhouse. She has been pretty good one v one on other centers (Lee and Prince come to mind).

I am not going to say who told me this, but 2 people that absolutely know, there was a lot of frustration from a contingent of players with 1 player.
As I stated before group A went in the portal as a result. The individual saw there was no team left around her and chose to leave as well

These are the facts, this is not primarily an NIL thing.

I think Jada stirred the pot while driving around in her Mercedes...

Bill made Audi an easy target for her teammates. His favoritism towards her went to a new level. No effort on defense, didn’t matter. Forced shots, didn’t matter. The power to check herself in and out of the game was absolutely crazy. An offense that force feeds the post every trip down. A short hook for a bad post pass depending on the player. A short hook for a missed shot depending on the player. Plus you are losing and Audi is still getting the attention of the national media.

Apparently in practice she got to do exercise bike while the team ran sprints.

Honestly I can understand that. It it should of been the message her body was telling her you can’t play effectively at this weight
she's an all-American, and best scorer in school history dude ... she was pretty ******* "effective" smfh.

we have seen PLENTY of slim girls that suck at defense too, Bill Fennelly could fill a gym with just the ones he recruits lolz

Though, she may be the least talented, one-dimentional All-American to have come along in a long time. Enjoyed watching her score, but never once did I ever say/think, "wow, great hustle" or "great move, Audi", "way to bounce over and help your teammate on defense" or "way to make a tough shot". More thoughts like, "pass it out, you're triple covered" and "Audi, stop attempting threes, your shooting range is 3 or less feet from the basket."

One of your main critiques for the person that shot about 1 three for every 3 games is that they shot too many threes?

There are segments in the fanbase that only wanted Milan and Batemon shooting threes, but then would complain if the offense was bogged down, and are convinced TJ doesn't advocate for his players and just stands there all game with his arms folded, so this checks out.

No, you didn't read that correctly. What I meant is that I believe that every one of those 40 times that she tried a three pointer in her career, I was saying, "no, don't shoot that". Six times she made me eat my words, that's 15% percent of the time.

Her teammates needed her to make literally any effort on defense and she couldn't be bothered to do that.

The real joke, however, is people expecting shooters to hit over 50% from three literally every single game.
Team shot 36% from three on the year. Not really a number that deserves being trashed on the way out the door by your AA.

Haha - so you obviously disagree with Brent Blum :
I don’t think there’s been a more nationally relevant player at ISU - in any sport - than Audi Crooks.”

This thread is fascinating with the amount of vitriol being heaped on Audi. The Fennelly apologists have successfully steered blame for the mass exodus away from Bill, with unsubstantiated rumors of clubhouse drama (Audi's fault), player pay cuts (Jamie's fault) and a broken system where this is happening everywhere ("bags" being thrown at our players).

Bottom Line: Losing a two-time All American and a pair of McDonald's All American's from the ISU WBB Roster is CATASTROPHIC. It's Bill's fault, yet he's untouchable because he beat UCONN in 1999. Audi, Addy & Jada are #'s 1, 4 & 7 in the CBS WBB Portal Rankings. Our bench players (Williams, Beatty & Wilson) are being snapped up by historically above-average programs (Indiana, Mississippi State & Toledo). What has happened to us this offseason is unprecedented in terms of talent departure, and somebody (CBF) needs to answer for it. How his facilitation of "toxic culture" doesn't rise to "for cause" is beyond me - it's been enough for other athletic departments. I know Jamie will never fire him - at this point I'd settle for an honest / in depth Tommy Birch interview where CBF discussed this season / offseason.
