Now we just wait the NFL to dispense its "justice".

Has there been any conventional thought of what it might be game wise? I'm happy it should be coming now instead of mid season. Will just him more recovery/acclimating back time

They have the highest paid player at several positions now, not sure how that can continue. Got a corner left that’s due a big payday. Hopefully get a discount on Rice because of his issues.

My money is on IF XW continues to develop and if RR wants top market dollar; chiefs let him walk.

It's not too bad. They have a handful of top 5 and top 10 guys, but really only Chris Jones and Kelce tops any list from a cap perspective for the next year or two. GK barely cracked the top 10 with his new deal.

McDuffie will get paid well, but the structure of the deal will help. Mahomes will probably get a brand new deal that will hopefully fix his looming cap hits. Kelce maybe be done after this year. Jawaan Taylor is going to be cut saving a lot of money. Jones may need a year added to his deal to soften the cap hits. And all the recent new money deals will look small in a season or two.

If their demands get to be too much they'll likely trade them for draft picks before they just let them walk for nothing. They did this with guys like Tyreek Hill, Sneed, Marcus Peters back in the day, they traded Thuney away to clear some space too. Probably a few others I am not remembering off the top of my head but they are kind of operating like the Patriots did during their dynasty where if they have a guy that don't think they can afford they'll trade for draft picks and build that way and use the savings elsewhere in free agency or to resign someone at another position of need that is more cost effective.

I hope they can hold onto McDuffie long term, he's becoming a lockdown corner. Rice while good so far I would not break the bank on him especially given the off-field issues. Can always draft another WR or sign one in free agency. They didn't give into Hill's demands and got a pretty nice package of picks for him.

Do like the Eagles are doing and defer most of the money down the line. Tampa Bay was also doing this to win their SB, when the talent gets old, bite the bullet and suck for a couple of years and then rinse and repeat.
