Barkley needs to hang it up. Said Houston played as 'good as they could play and they were still down'. Houston did not shoot well from outside nor from the free throw line.
Houston really blew that to me. Would still say they beat Florida in a best of 7

Houston didn't score in the last 2 minutes of the game. Uzan was terrible all night.

**** Florida. Tech had them in elite 8 dead to rights.
Meh, so did Uconn and Auburn, you have to give them credit for finding ways to win at the end.

I do feel bad for Houston, they've probably been the best program in the sport the last 5 or 6 years and just can't get over the hump. I think they had a similar stretch in the early 80s and can't quite do enough to win a championship

Barkley is a Tiger SEC Home Boy! Entertaining sometimes, but who cares what he says in this one, or many others.

Florida is the 14th team to defeat the defending champion and win the championship.
Arizona was the last one in 1997.
Florida is the only team to beat the defending champion before the Elite Eight and win the championship.
They were outstanding this year. To play in that league and only lose 4 games all year is quite a feat. While I thought the tourney overall had some major mismatches the final four was stellar. I love how athletic Houston is. They were a fun team to watch imo as someone who doesn't generally root for them. Sampson's teams are always outstanding. He's was the best coach in the Conference even when he was at OU.

They lost on a fluke play to NC State that was worse than this.

Why is that a travel, though?
Never dribbled. Put the ball down while in the air. He just needs to dribble it instead of hold it.

Here’s the rule:
If a player, with the ball in his possession, raises his pivot foot off the floor, he must pass or shoot before his pivot foot returns to the floor. If he drops the ball while in the air, he may not be the first to touch the ball.

Lost by 2 and Fla hits a 3 after this. If they call the goaltend they can go reverse it if it isn’t, but if they don’t call it, they can’t look at it! Why are these rules so stupid????

How the f*ck does lipscomb get a better clip than us? All I recognized was the quick clip of Lipsey driving.

One shining moment, the season is done for this yr. I has the sads.
Well wait till Oct and I'll be recharged and ready to cheer again.

I thought Duke was better than Houston, but Duke fell apart when it mattered.

I thought Houston was better than Florida, but Houston fell apart when it mattered.

This tournament is about NOT falling apart….Florida was the best at that, so they deserve to be champion.
