I agree with this. Load management the f out of him next year. Only play him in the MTE, Big East Challenge, and Iowa. Then rest him the entire month of February and march up until the Big Dance,

Haliburton's shot looked casual too. But effective. Not making a comparison there overall. Just saying that doesn't mean everything.
I spoke with someone who played against him. He laughed and said good luck. Makes me worried but i think he will be good
Lots to like in hishighlight tape. His first step off the dribble looks good against that level of competition, and I hope it is still good at the this level. I would also have him work on adding a tear drop shot at the rim to use against rangy shot blockers as there was no indication of one in his video.
Good luck as in he’s a head case? Not going to judge all that till he plays here.
He also improved his ball handling and slashing on defenders who overplayed angles. I expect him to be right around 10-11 ppg next season. He can be a huge asset on a good team if he continues his play from late February and March.
Those guys you mentioned all had one thing in common....they could put the ball in the hoop. You can have wiggle, ball handling, length, whatever. Can you make shots against elite competition? I'm not sure WIlliams is at that level.

I'm sure the staff have researched him thoroughly, including watching more game films. But, you are right in that we won't really know until he, or any of the transfers, play against better competition. Sure passes the eye test though.

Curtis' shot got much quicker over the two years here - and Milan's got MUCH quicker during the season, especially catch-and-release when moving left. Someone on the staff is teaching that very well, although a ton of it is quickness in decision making and confidence. Hopefully Mason makes the same improvement
Yeah, maybe only play Tamin 37 minutes against the scrub teams in November. No reason to play him 38 minutes.
Yes, I’m sure Tamin will want to sit out most of his senior year.

By the looks of it he averaged about 27 minutes in those games and never went over 30 unless you count Auburn and Iowa (32 and 33) as scrub teams.
