I can only think a full off-season could help there. Tighten his handle just a bit and he's going to have some unreal basketball games for ISU next year.

played for nationally-renowned club program Seattle Rotary, playing under directors and coaches Dan Finkley, Daryll Hennings and his father, Chuck Williams.
Could be TJ got to know some coaches while with the Huskies a decade ago.
Not going to lie, his highlights look exactly like Curtis. Will take some time to adjust but looks really interesting.
Yes, if he starts slow people will need to remember Curtis also started slow here.
Thankfully TJ is nothing like that loon who coaches at UCONN.
I like his size as well if he is really 6’5” - 6’6”. May be able to guard 3 positions with a bit more weight.
I remember him because he was a scorer and he had a huge motor that game. He was the best player on the floor!!!
Nate developed into a D and 3 guy. He’s also a grate cutter. I think another offseason will help him add more to his plate. He’s not a Curtis Jones but I could see him being a steady double digit scorer.

Yeah, he'll certainly have to step up his game as it's likely that he'll get more attention from the defense with Curtis gone. I think he can make that step.
He's really good at slicing through the defense.

Mason is taller, has more length, a far better handle, and more natural shake and ability to take his man off the dribble.
Now Curtis was a pure shooter and natural scorer. Time will tell if Williams has that same "it" factor.
If Williams gets stronger and gets more consistent with his jumper (as CuJo did) he has a ridiculously high ceiling. From a pure intangibles perspective this dude could play 2 guard in the NBA.

To play 2 guard in the NBA you have to be one of the top 50ish players in the world. What are you smoking?
I said he has the intangibles/measurables to play in the NBA. Similar to how Abel Nader had prototypical measureables as a small forward for the NBA. A lot moreso than Monte Morris as a point guard, Matt Thomas as a shooting guard and Georges Niang as a forward. All of which made millions in the league.
Mason has a bit of Diante Garrett in his game actuallly now that I think more about it.
You probably would have been the guy two years ago saying Curtis Jones can't play in the Big 12 much less be a 1st team All Big 12 player.
Jones can get a shot off without a lot of time or space. Most of Williams’ highlights have him with a pretty casual release. He did have a couple shots where he got it off quickly though.
A good looking player, but as you say, we’ll have to see how he does against better competition.
