SDSU so far looks like a team from a November bye game.

They are out for blood after everyone saying they shouldn’t be in. That’s a team you don’t want to face this time of year

They’re also just a very good offense. So far they’ve tricked San Diego State into thinking they can play at a fast pace and settle for jump shots, too. I fear they’ll do the same to Ole Miss. I feel like in a tournament setting teams are more prone to panicking when they give up a little run, and if you hang your hat on defense and physicality, it’s hard to recover if you get away from that.

Granted, San Diego State might just suck. They want NO part of UNC’s contact. They’re not even trying to finish at the rim because the second they get some pushback they pull it out and pass. I guess this may be why the Mountain West sucks in the tournament

Yeah, the conference usually sucks but Dutcher has been to a Sweet 16 and the Final the past 2 years.

Want to watch some basketball tonight to relax. Checked the score, looked like an interesting game at the time. Talked with a wife for a few minutes then turned the TV on.

It seems like every year there's at least 1 First Four team that looks completely out of their league. The Aztecs appear to be that team this year.

Some programs just aren't made for the bright lights of Dayton.

Just because they're destroying their opponent doesn't mean they belong in the tourney. Being good enough to play and having a good enough resume to get in are two different things. They still don't belong.

I hate Ole Miss' spot in having to play someone who already has a win under their belts in the tournament. No idea of the stats, but it seems like they outperform the non-play-in game seed

In a matter of 48 hours these teams had to travel to Dayton, scout, and install a gameplan. There is bound to be a clunker.

I think they’ll be able to speed Ole Miss up just like San Diego State. Whether or not Ole Miss can stay composed and stick to their guns, we shall see
