Hopefully we picked the right pg, no offense to Moore

But he’ll make more going to a mid or low major.

Play, and get paid

To me, this is TJ wanting someone with some experience out of the portal instead of a developmental freshman. Sadly, that’s the way it is these days. You can’t afford to have guys on the bench that aren’t ready.

Nah, we won’t be able to afford or attract more than one quality transfer guard

It’s a case in which a high schooler committed when we had no one in the class, and now we have two other 6’3” guards. One pg and a combo. Someone wasn’t going to play

He can likely get paid more when someone is desperate this spring, or from going to the MAC and playing early

Maybe if these players want to be treated and paid like adults they should learn what making a commitment means. This leaves us in a bad spot now for replacing Tamin 12 months from now unless he can find a pg in the portal.
Do you really think that this is totally the kids decision?

With the way the team sits for next year (ignoring portal subtractions) it’s another top 15 team. You capitalize on these times by bringing in help and not banking on freshmen.

Making a commitment means you can break the commitment.

Like someone can accept a job offer, then decide to go another direction. That's also a professional, paid adult situation.

I'm going to go ahead and assume the bottom isn't going to fall out after Tamin is done.
