Fine, I'm just getting frustrated with all the decommitts. Regardless of whether it's coach or player initiated, it's not a good look for either side.
Not sure but it seems like every offseason we get blown away by the recruiting, look who they brought in during the offseason, possibly the best pickup one could think of in Jefferson.

That’s on you for taking it way too personally.
Scholarships are one year “contracts” anyways. The school doesn’t have to commit to giving that kid a scholarship and the kid doesn’t have to commit to benchwarming. Best for both sides to get ahead of it and agree to not waste each others time

We will add some transfers and lose a couple also. Guessing fish and possibly Watson. Can’t believe people are overreacting to losing the 212th rated freshman class n the class when we see every year what we can bring in with the portal

I continue to believe that TJ and crew have this under control and a good plan.
The last 3 springs I have had my doubts if Cyclone hoops can sustain our success going into the next season And every year TJ & staff blow me a way with their understanding of roster-building. And their roster changes end up not only sustaining prior year success, but building upon it.

I don't think many people thinks it's. a bad look, it's just the current reality in college sports. To not expect it to happen is being unrealistic and a bit gullible. Sure it sucks when it happens to your team, but we also get players from other teams for whom it also sucks.

Just seen on the bottom ticker on ESPN during this Duke love fest with Boeheim:

'Iowa State loses commitment from a player not many people have heard of, Tamin Lipsey will still be PG next season'.

Just kidding, that didn't happen because nobody cares.

Didn’t he already sign a Letter of Intent? Can you now just “decommit” from those?

If we could afford it, without pissing off a returning guy, we would have regardless of Moore

It’s not in the cards. Anyone worth grabbing is too much $ and would make it too crowded for guys staying at a discount
I don’t think that you know what you’re talking about. TJ looks for analytical fits. Not top of the market guys. Find someone who can handle, defend and hit an open shot. Doesn’t have to be a 20ppg scorer. More like 12 at a mid major. Honestly he should have done that this year and let Fish go.

Regarding the High School commit comments, not saying I agree or disagree, but Pitino has said he doesn’t foresee himself recruiting HSers the rest of his career because, in his words, you can’t win championships with high school kids in the transfer world
