*** Official #12 IOWA STATE vs #17 BYU Game(Day) Thread ***

But seriously, down the stretch, Saunders treated with absolute kid gloves by the officials. Unbelievable what kind of hacking and blatant beating is required for a Cyclone to get a call driving to the basket. I know I sound like a homer, but it's so continually obvious.

The guys played hard and well enough to win. We need that aggressiveness from Milan from here on out because it appears we have committed to solely trying to find mismatches. In the end, not having an answer for the zone for a good bit of the second half was the undoing, which is kind of a predictable outcome.

Yeah....there's just something about them. The douchiness they exude is nauseating.
I do believe I hate BYU more than any other team. Win or lose to them, I hope they lose everything they play.
Warranted. BYU players all look and act like 80s movie bad guy douches & their fans have no basketball IQ.

How does Iowa State always end up with more fouls than the opponent? Even against a team that shoots 40+ 3s? More importantly, why is every team that guards Iowa State allowed to have two hands on the ball handler but any minor contact but Iowa State is a foul?
That 5th foul on Heise was weak as ****

You aren't wrong. We all saw it.

BYU would've shot at least half the FTs they did if they were reffed as tough as ISU.

I would not feel good about this if I were BYU. We playing with half our guys, and they have really been exposed defensively in our two matchups.

BYU just has so many guys you can attack, guys that can't guard at all....easy to create mismatches. Honestly I would love to see them in our bracket.
