@ ASU and @U of A roll call

We are in section G1 (might have one ticket for sale next to us. will report back). Got tickets through ASU alumni association (my mother lives in Tempe) and they said there is a large group of ISU fans in G1 so should be a good cyclone crowd in the G1/H1 corner.

We’re going to both. Haven’t bought tickets yet though.

Are there typically visitor sections/blocks? Would like to try and get near other cyclones ideally.
sounds like the G1/H1 corner @ ASU could have good Iowa State crowd

@BanjoCy

Local Alumni Club partnered with ASU for "discounted" tickets. Link below, out of towners welcome to purchase. The plan was to fill up F1 then G1, H1, and H2 in that order, but there is going to be plenty of Cyclones so I wouldn't worry too much about location.

Local alumni club still working on details but attempting to plan events for both Friday night (Bogeys 6463 S. Rural Rd. Tempe, AZ) and Saturday morning (location TBD, ASU shot down tailgating).

Also working on informal pre-game gathering in Tucson location TBD.

Going to both. Not sure what to expect. If there are any meetups or pre-games organized, I'll be there.

Have one ticket for sale in section G1 for ASU game. Will be a lot of Iowa state fans in that section. PM me.

Sold

Decided I needed to escape the Iowa cold to cure some annual seasonal depression and am going down solo. My grandpa is a UofA grad, so I'm excited to check out his old stomping grounds!

My mom spends the winter months in Apache Junction, 30 miles from Tempe, so I guess this is a reason to go visit her, ha. The wife and I will be flying in that Friday from Sioux City for the Sun Devil game, Section F1 Row 30. Looking forward to hitting a pre-game party and meeting some Cyclone Fanatics in person!

Flying out of DSM at 5am on Friday morning. I'm sure there will be other Clones on the plane as well. Only going to the ASU game as I have to get back to work. Playing golf Friday and going to the ASU hockey game that evening as well. Definitely sending some Ames Lager down ahead of time!

@brentblum any update on the WeWill tailgate in Tempe? I have a group of 12 clone fans on a bachelor party looking to pregame and support the collective

Awesome. The Phoenix Cyclone Club is doing events Friday night and potentially Saturday as well so we didn’t want to duplicate efforts. Their Friday event I believe is at Bogeys (6463 S. Rural Rd. Tempe), but I’ll pass along exact details.

Hope they do a Saturday, as we won't be flying in until late on Friday night. Though, if Bogeys opens at their usual time for a Saturday (11am, just an hour before tip-off), then it's not worth it.

Agreed on the Sat AM.

If you can, make time for some outdoor adventures in Tucson. I'd recommend hiking in Sabino Canyon and Saguaro National Park. There are two units (west and east). Personally I prefer the west unit. The Hugh Norris Trail is pretty incredible as it winds through some crazy Saguaro forests. Feels very much like the Looney Tunes southwestern landscape in real life.
