Am I the only one who can't stand playing cards. It is the worst part of the holidays....

Cribbage is one of the best games known to man. I agree outside of that though. It’s tough finding people to play nowadays.
I feel like this is a "if you great up around it" thing.

That’s what I’m saying. I’d love some games of Euchre, hearts, or pitch with a competent and under 70 year old crew.
500 is my game, but you have to have 4 people for it.

Complete opposite for me, I can't stand dumb holiday games my family plays or most board games but love playing cards.
Pitch, spades, hearts, euchre are all great fun. Definitely an older generation thing.
I love 500. Used to play a lot, actually when young. Now, I have no one around that either knows how to play or likes to play.
My wife's family is big into it, but I quickly tapped out from learning after watching them play and the amount of complaining and ******** they do during the game.
Wouldn’t trade card games or board games with my kids for anything. Nice to have them old enough to play 500 or hearts or board games like Catan. So much better family time than video games or just watching TV.
