Arizona State Matchup

I’m seeing the line move to ASU -2.5. How does Tyson being out move the line towards ASU?
It was announced 1-2 hours ago. guessing the line hasn't had time to adjust yet. I also don't think a single WR changes the line much, if at all.

It should be noted that ASU doesn't have a reliable FG kicker. They even missed a 21 yard FG against AZ on Saturday. I'm not sure how much that will factor into the game, but each point may be critical in a game like this

yeah their kicking game is obsolete so you damn well better believe they will hit a 52 yard game winner against us.

I am curious about the Cyclone injured players such as Brahmer and Verdon. I hope they both can come back for this game. I am guessing we have to await kick-off to know for sure.

An Dylan Barrett, and any of the guys who have been injured for a long time - have those dudes been practicing to get back on the field?

I'm very surprised ISU is a dog in this game with their leading WR out and no kicking game at a neutral site. Is that what services like Sagarin predict? @Dale any insight?

95% positive Barrett played on Saturday. pretty sure i saw big #61 out there

Barrett has been back a couple of weeks now, I believe. I also think Buhr played all 82 snaps at LG against Kstate

Verdon being in street clothes last game doesn't give me much confidence that he'll be ready to play in a week. It seems like they normally have guys go through warmups for a couple of games without playing before they actually contribute.

One thing I haven't seen mentioned yet that I think could be a factor is the 11am kickoff. ASU's two losses were also their earliest kickoff times of the season. 11AM at Cincy and 2:30 at Texas Tech. They did have one other 2:30 kickoff they won at OSU, but OSU finished winless so take that for what it's worth.

I definitely saw #61 trot out there at center. Wonder if the participation chart confused him with #51? Can about guarantee that a redshirt freshman LB was not playing center
Also says Hufford played 82 snaps at center.

PFF says Bonifas got 1 snap at LT.. that could be a mistake.

Hard to keep track of anymore. But, would be great to have Brahmer and Verdon back for this game, however unlikely that will be.

Also, did they shut down Brezina to preserve his redshirt?
