That bad luck might have just put the nail in the coffin for Lando’s championship hopes.

Bearman and Colapinto both looked pretty good.

Meanwhile Danny Ric is sealing his fate. I was watching old highlights of Danny and man he used to be really good with Red Bull. Not sure what happened but he pulled off some crazy moves back then

Those two out qualifying Albon and Hulk was pretty impressive. Colapinto is kind of screwed because even if he impresses the remainder of the season it’s tough to see a spot for him anytime soon.

Nice drive by Lando to recover. Running out of time to make a real fight with Max though. Oscar is driving great, he’s better than Lando IMO

It was a fun race with an exciting end. I didn’t see this reply live, but found it on Reddit. Carlos does not make any sudden moves. Feels like Perez just somehow missed that the Ferrari was slightly coming left on the straight and Perez never reacted to that line.

I think they were both trying to get that slipstream from Leclerc and just didn't give an inch. Tough one for Perez after being better than Max for the first time all season.

That would make sense, but if you are Perez you got avoid that collision and give yourself a chance to regain the position in the final two laps.

Yeah, he was still in play for 2nd, Leclerc's tires were done.

He's making it tough for RB, even when he's on the pace he's still not delivering points.

I overslept yesterday and didn't have a chance to watch. Is this one worth going back and watching the recording knowing the results?

IMO, absolutely. A lot of really hard racing. The top three were pushing basically flat out the entire second half of the race because nobody could separate themselves. It was fun watching Lando push through and make up 11 grid spots as well.

Lacked a little drama at times because Piastri was flawless in the lead but that battle at the front was entertaining. I don't remember the last time the top 4 were that close that late in the race.

It was fun watching a second year guy put on a defensive clinic when Leclerc did get close enough though. I thought for sure he had him a couple of those times. Then Sainz just showed up for the party and crashed it at the end.

That pass he put on Leclerc for the lead was something else. Lot of guys try that, not that many pull it off like that.
