I agree but I still don't like hype people. The dude in the big hat at the wbb tournament was OK, but I only made the championship game and didn't have to listen to him all tourney.

They were content to never try to win the game and lose 21-3. It was one of the most bizarre games I've ever watched. The stadium looked and sounded great on TV to start the game. By the end of it, I felt bad for the fans.

The final wide crowd shot at the two-minute warning looked like spring game levels of attendance. Looked like 95% of you decided to GTFO early.

I doubt she's getting paid much. In-game hosts are the norm in pro sports.

Beer sales to the masses is the norm at pro sports too.

The second time she screeched her announcement I was done. Some of it might be turning her mic way down(off preferably) but her “fingernails scratching a chalk board” voice was horrible. Hoping it gets shut down sooner than later.

Boring game, arguably a poor performance relative to expectations, and sneaky hot weather. Probably a lot of memories of last year's season opening postgame traffic debacle too. (Which thankfully did not materialize.)

That at least can be fixed. I don’t think that screechy voice can be..

Unfortunately there were one or two country music songs between plays later in the game. And the band played something at half time by racist Morgan Wallen.
Replace those with rap, and the crazy lady with rap, and it would have been better. And I'm not even much a fan of rap.

In 2 places. Between ames and huxley, and then again north of Ankeny.

The one between ames and huxley was supposed to reopen sometime in late september, but no idea if that's on track.
