I doubt she's getting paid much. In-game hosts are the norm in pro sports.

Whatever the amount is should be saved to eventually be given to the players

The last couple of seasons when I’ve happened to come across a USC home game on satellite radio the in-game DJ/host/whatever the hell he is is absolutely insufferable. Screaming his lungs out right up to the snap, insisting the crowd get up for every moment … it’s really atrocious to hear on the radio, I can’t imagine how bad it is in person.

Apparently that’s the world we live in now.

I don't think I'm alone in saying that I prefer college sports over pro because they are different. The college atmospheres and traditions are a big part of the appeal.

So true. I’ve been to a lot of college games and quite a few NFL games. For me NFL is for watching on TV. College is for going to the game.

TX mbb had a hype man for their games, it was OK for 5 minutes then I was well past done with it.

Didn't Houston have one at their home basketball games? I can only hear "WHOSE HOUSE?!" so make times in a life and that game filled more than all that was needed.

So many aspects of presentation were off today IMO. The new sound system wasn’t great (probably because there was zero sound coming out of the SEZ like always), and the intro video was pretty lame

Someone should let her know you don't have to scream into a microphone when you've got the speakers amplifying things.
