I wish, but maybe who knows. I said something to my boss when it first came on the scene.
Makes sense to have if you have a bar in Ames.
During BB season I asked for it every time I ate, push the name and hope they respond. The Mucky Duck had/has it on tap but at $9 for a glass it was back to Brick City for me. OC will be on my list next season.

STILL cannot find Ames Lager within a 5-mile radius of my condo in Cedar Rapids. STILL!
I've called all the nearby outlets, some carry it but are out. My nearest Hy-Vee store carries it but . . . is out.
I have yet to taste those bubbly suds and the delicious elixir. Geesh.

I've bought multiple 4 packs of the hazy (including at release) and each has been just fine. It's not amazing by any means, but a decent hazy IPA. Maybe you just got a bad batch.
This is a great idea. Should of thought of this for the NCAA tourney in Omaha. The CWS drew a little better weather.
That We Will pizza and Ames lager beer combo looks to be worthy of an Olympic training table.
Stopped at west Ames Hyvee on my way by, I was disappointed they only had sausage &mushroom pizza, so only grabbed 2. But they did have 5/24 packaged Ames Lager in stock.

The other Hy-Vee by Hobby Lobby always has plenty of WW pizza anytime I've ever been there.
