That's literally the best case scenario. Again, that would be the West. We would still be in Omaha.

Sounds just fine. We still get 2 rounds in Omaha. I think Clones can find their way to LA.
To be fair, a couple of weeks ago, we did have work to do.
There have been some surprise #1s, but can't recall the most recent occasion ... far fewer surprises since the rise of common bracketology. Occasionally we get a "either/or/maybe" like this year.

How many of us will be celebrating after the announcement? I'm guessing many will ***** about something. Give me 1-4 in any region. This season has been crazy and I was here for it. I'm stoked by our finish to the season but also wonder if we can keep it rolling since I'm a long-time Cyclone fan. Poured a Woodford Reserve Rye on the rocks. I'm ready!

Eh, if we're not a 1 or the top 2 i'll be pissed.
There's only so many chances for non-blue bloods to go on big runs, and being a 1 gives you a much better chance statistically of that, as would getting a top 2 vs getting sent east and having a much harder path
Obviously this year has taken a bit of a turn, but it's crazy how nerve wracking it still is even when you know you're in without a doubt. Who are we playing? What day? What seed? Where? So much fun.
