That team played with fire all year sleepwalking for half of games then making double digit comebacks. It was bound to burn them eventually. The frosted tips were just a memorable “highlight” for that UAB game

• We win out
• We knock off Houston
• Arizona and Tennessee both lose

If Houston drops one of these last two conference games and we win out including a big 12 tournament victory over Houston we will be a 1.

I think the absolute coolest stat about this team is that so far this season no cyclone player has been selected as Big 12 player if the week. That sums it all up right there folks.

We're not a team made up of 1 or 2 superstars and some role players. Our entire roster is role players, several of whom could go off for 20+ on any given night. Everyone plays for everyone else with total selflessness.

You want to see what a team's chemistry really is? Watch the bench during the game. I've never seen so much celebration for teammates. Conrad Hawley hardly ever gets into the game, but what he has done for the morale of this team is immeasurable.

Iowa State is the epitome of a team that's greater than the sum of its parts, and that is incredibly refreshing in this era of semi pro college basketball.

I noticed Hawley in the UCF game not only pumping up the other players in the huddle, but coaches as well. TJ talked about him on Cyclone Coaches Corner and what he means to the team, and also said that they need to find a way to keep him after he graduates. Really impressive for a walk on to make that kind of impact and impression.

Of the top 12 teams in this week's AP ranking, all but ISU were ranked in the top 25 before the season began. All the more reason for TJ to be national coach of the year.

That team was a mess. Wigginton and his parents ******** everyday to the staff about him coming off the bench, Cam Lard smoking weed all day and not caring, THT having one foot out the door the whole time and being a cancer to the rest of the team. Marial Shayok carried that team on his back all year.

Anyone else think of Gilbert as Killmonger from Black Panther? 50% because of the hair and 50% because of the killer instinct he has at times? Definitely one of my favorite players.
