Baylor #11, Kansas #14, and BYU #20.

BYU dropping out last week and not being ranked sooner was really irrational.

Feels like it happens to a top 25 caliber team that is just above .500 in Big 12 meat grinder every year. It's been TCU a lot of years under Dixon.

BYU is 12 in Net...wonder if we could jump some or all of the 3 SEC teams right in front of us with a win this week.

Winning Wednesday against BYU would all but lock up a 3 seed or better and put us in the middle of the 2 seed conversation.

ISU has been a 2 seed twice.
2000- Elite 8 and lost in the de facto national championship game.
2001-Lost first round to team that shall not be named.

ISU has been a 3 seed twice.
2014- Niang broke his foot in the opening game
2015- lost first round to UAB

Honestly i'd say there's more bad history with the 3 seed.

I'm just hoping to stay off the 8-9 line

Winning out through the Big 12 Tournament is still not guaranteed a 1 seed on that alone. Going to need help from those above us, and even a few of those aren't moving.

UConn, Purdue and Houston are going to be 1 seeds barring any of them losing three in a row here to end the regular season and conference tournaments. Even then, they are likely 1 seeds.

Would need Tennessee (and Arizona a little less) to lose a couple of games here at the end I would guess.
