Gilbert gets a pass from me on TOs because there are times that 4 of our players are just passing up shots and trying to get the ball out of their hands. At some point someone has to try to make something happen.
Which realistically means we can't drop both games this week.
I'm betting they win their last 2 (texas at home on monday, @tech on saturday)
Worth noting that, despite how difficult that game felt, Iowa State still covered the Vegas line (3.5, per ESPN) and Kenpom and Barttorvik's score projections (both had a 5 point ISU win). Road games are hard, and so far they've managed to step up to the plate for every one of those games that are possible trip-ups.

-The next timeout there was a loud cross court “Cyclone Power” chant
We had a great time, it isn’t a true ISU road game without some level of “heart attack clones”
Would definitely come back to another road game here. Go State!

Which ones would you like him to go for? And which ones should he back off?Gilbert is a very good player. But he needs to not try to make EVERY PLAY a spectacular one...just some of them.

SIAP but think they scored 4 points (including 2 late free throws in garbage time) the last 8 minutes of the game.
Also, one more game this year where other team had more TO than FG.

I think that’s kind of what people are saying, this team while very good, doesn’t have the best player in the country to fall back on.
First two teams under TJ most likely would have dropped both games this week imo
