That’s my point, it doesn’t happen because winning is all that matters. Winning big and winning regularly puts butts in seats and kept a coaches jobs secure. That’s why “records don’t matter” is so wrong, they are all that matter. That’s why a coach would never get fired with wins equal or above school expectations with no butts in seats (it hasn’t happened because of the winning) and why a coach would get fired if attendance was great and alums were happy but they were a losing coach. The winning is the difference, it’s always the difference

But yet he's still 6-7 this year with no good players and a bunch of freshman? They are probably the least talented team in the Big 10 right now and are still around .500.

A bunch of freshmen? He has as many seniors as freshmen. FR have played 1290 minutes this season, seniors have played 2066. Freeman plays at lot (as he should), Harding, Pr Sandfort and Dembele play spot minutes. At least we agree they are one of the least talented teams.
