Keep Haluska in for his Defense, but he shouldnt shot ever. He had his good game against baylor that means he sinks back to not doing anything offensively. Keep AT on the bench.
Normally I'd agree with you on this...but this game snapped a 4 game streak of teams scoring on us in the final 5 seconds of the first half.
I agree, and the real problem is the shots he seems to take are a quick three, on the run, while not facing the basket. Take a spot up 3, if anything.
This might sound odd but we should probably run a few more sets for Petey and get him some open three point looks. He is shooting the ball just as well (if not better) than Staiger over the last three weeks.
Haluska's shot was a bad one...but Garrett also took one, and Brackins has put up a couple of awful shots...this is the worst I've seen us play in quite a while, and it's too bad, because our open looks are dropping-and we'd be in really good shape right now if we would've played halfway decent defense in the first half, and been smarter with shot selection.
how many games do you watch? Because yeah we may have not ended the half on a good note, besides peteys should but were down 7 on the road and were sticking with a 20-6 team for gods sake. Its not like were losing to a team we should be beating easily. Use some realism and come back and post. Were still making shots. The difference is free throws right now.
I watch every single game...you think we're playing good? We're hitting our open shots, and that is why it's a 7 point deficit at halftime...we're playing the worst defense we've played since November, and we've put up some shots that are as good as turnovers...otherwise we'd be in a great position to pull an upset today.
Know what you're talking about before you call me out...I can promise you not one of our coaches is happy with our play in the first half.
jeez, how long is "a while," as I've seen us play pretty bad in the not too distant past.
Normally our problem is that we can't hit the broad side of the barn...not effort...
