Don't know what to expect other than the men playing as hard as they can for 40. I'll keep cheering/watching until they stop playing hard, which has never happened under TJ!

Need our defense to produce some easy buckets in this one, and also be aggressive when we get the shots we want. They're not going to be open for long, so when you get one, let it fly.
The biggest issue in the OU game is that we only forced 10 turnovers - that's not enough and it lead to the slowest paced game of the year and caused a lot of the other issues.

Am I the only one who doesn't think lack of students is a big deal? They suck most of the time anyway unless it's KU or Iowa.

You probably aren't the only one with that opinion, however it is wrong. Non-conference I'll agree they suck big time and barely fill 10 rows in the bottom sections. However, once conference starts and for a game like this it is a massive disadvantage to not have them here. They would be adding that extra oomph we'll need to keep the energy up on defense. Hopefully the crazies that get to Hilton can be loud. Sucky part is that on top of all the weather stuff the start time blows as well for people getting off work and getting there for tip.

This line is begging me to take Houston in the points, -2.5.
ISU has struggled against any team that is physical against us. Good guys put up a fight, but it ends 73-67 Houston.

Thanks Rulzzz Go Cyclones

Hopefully all of Cylone fans traveling to Hilton in this weather get there safely and are rewarded with a big win

I wanted to research and post that Houston isn’t used to road games like this but then I saw they have really done well in the few high level road games they have played the past three years.

I took Houston and the points. Hammered it, as a matter of fact.

I believe Vegas thinks Hilton is what it used to be, and is giving points it shouldn’t. It’s just not the arena that it once was. If Houston doesn’t win by 10+, I’ll be pleasantly shocked.

Yikes! It looks like they've won 12 true road games in a row. They won at Oregon, Virginia, Cincinnati and Memphis last year. That's impressive.

I can't explain how nuts this part is:

To be top 5 in all 5 of those categories is both insane and insanely lucky (3P% and especially FT% are not really a defensive skill)

But holding opponents to 40% shooting on 2-pt shots is bananas - and to do it while leading the nation in blocks and steals is triple bananas

Going to qualify my prediction here:

We’ve got a great chance to win this game and we can win this game, but there is no world where we do it easily or comfortably. I’m going Houston 70 - ISU 65. Could easily be flipped, but I still think we have some things to figure out. We’ll come out of this tough stretch better. This is our “challenging pre-con” if you will.

What's the O/U? You may want to hammer the under too (if you don't believe in magic)
