This is not a decent fb team. Where in the world are you getting that? They aren't well coached and they aren't very talented.
The perpetual hype train has ingrained meaningless buzz phrases like “there’s talent there” in to the rube brain.

There is no way he is still on the sidelines when JTS is half empty every week. What's the point?
There's about as many people in Kansas City as there are in Iowa.THIS. Yes, Iowa State is not an easy place to coach at, but we are in a power conference, have great facilities and excellent fan support. That's what players and coaches long for.
K-State and Kansas are living proof you can be located in a state without a lot of local talent and still succeed.
Kansas nor K-State are located in Kansas City and Kansas as a state population-wise, has fewer people than Iowa. There's about as many people in Kansas City as there are in Iowa.

At best you're jerking off in Star Wars PJs.I’m wearing my Sith robes right now. Masterminding coaching changes not just at ISU, but across the entire Galaxy.
KC, Wichita, STL, and probably some Texas kids as well.Where do they recruit out of?
And Kansas is the largest JUCO football factory in America. There's about as many people in Kansas City as there are in Iowa.

I guess I don't understand where you're coming from. It's not like Kansas and K-State are just loaded with talent. They simply have better coaching at this point. You can't tell me our players wouldn't succeed under Leipold or Klieman.
They may as well be. KC is a KU town by far. There are also a ton of K-State grads there. Its closer to those schools than Columbia by a long shot.Kansas nor K-State are located in Kansas City and Kansas as a state population-wise, has fewer people than Iowa.

KU isn't far from KC. But KSU and Mizzou are about the same, around a 2 hour drive to either one. They may as well be. KC is a KU town by far. There are also a ton of K-State grads there. Its closer to those schools than Columbia by a long shot.

Was there even hype this year, though? It felt like the program was barely mentioning the upcoming season.

It's a KU town. Always has been. St. Louis is way more of a Mizzou town than KC. I lived in KC/Northwest Missouri for a long time. More KU fans than anything else. Just like Omaha is an NU town, not because it's in Nebraska but because of its proximity Lincoln. If ISU was in Council Bluffs we would own Omaha.KU isn't far from KC. replace CMC with Prohm or CPR and there's no difference in the meaningThis post comes out every time when change is discussed. I’m sure you were here posting the same exact thing when Rhoads was on the hot seat.
We're back to being the team everyone schedules on Homecoming.Prohm always loved point guards, so maybe he could find us a QB. Campbe;ll was building up Becht having a great game when he threw two interceptions and fumbled the ball three times. The Okies will eat him up and spit him out—1-11 and kissing the basement floor.
