Becht has been okay. Missed on an easy throw and threw a pick 6 on a play that has no business even being in our ******* playbook. Play calling has been. Mostly terrible..

Every lateral play we've ran had been blown up. When our routes are working upfield (slants in particular) we've had more success.
But that involves us running tempo and Matt can’t have our offense doing that

dislike all you want

dislike all you want but its the truth

We had a starting NFL QB on our roster and he got worse every season under this HC and we could never win the conference. That was as good as it's ever going to get under Campbell; we've already peaked, ladies and gents.

That first drive had me fired up, even with the blocked FG. We were moving the ball rushing inside and getting passes underneath. Suddenly we're trying to run outside all the time and dropping passes. We finally get a pick in this series, and then immediately give up a pick-6.

Outside the bad PI call, the officiating at least looks even. They've been allowing contact all game but call that one?

Dan Mccarney use to win these games with almost no defense. How is Campbell not able to do it, with one of the best defense in the history of ISU.

Well, my personal first half highlight were the camera shots of Rocco's smokin' hot mom.

This is exactly the way not to play Iowa, and like every single year Campbell decides to do it anyways. Throwing short out routes and getting behind the sticks is just begging for interceptions, and yet we do it all the time. Not to mention a complete inability to catch the ball. Putting all the pressure on your defense will not win you games, like we saw last year

It's the little things/winning in the margins.
Get creased on short yardage run, burned on play action, have a FG blocked, whiff a block on a punt return, continually run long developing plays up the middle & into the boundary, drop half a dozen passes, run poor out route on pass to wide side of the field (called out here early multiple times as a play we WILL get burned on eventually) and punt multiple times into the end zone & not get inside the 20.

Yeah, there is a chasm to span before getting remotely 'consistent'.

D started showing signs & brought pressure in 2nd quarter & didn't wait until the 2nd half. If the D can get a huge play (QB strip/sack?) there's a chance & plenty of football to play. However, if the offense can't get some things figured out, we could experience a 2nd half much like the first.

This is the sign of insanity , he has lost like this the last seven year and continues to do the same thing.
