Just a thought that I had, that I’ll stick here.

I noticed a while back that while Will went to high school at Waukesha (WI) North, his hometown is actually neighboring Pewaukee.

Which is where Milan Momcilovic is from.

Coincidence? I think not.

Will is going to THRIVE when he's not double teamed on every snap. There isn't many NFL tackles who can deal with his speed on the edge.

Pittsburg with TJ Watt would be a DREAM destination for Will. I can't think of a better system for him to get to learn and develop than Tomlin's 3-4

Yea I totally agree

I don’t think weight is an issue. His special qualities are his quick twitch and his length (7’10” wingspan) and his production on a 3 man front in a premier conference. If he can run in the 4.5’s at the combine, he could very well be considered in Day 1 as he has a similar story to Haason Reddick who had a great Senior Bowl and combine and went up to being a first round pick. Will is currently a little bigger than him. And since Reddick has 19.5 sacks this year including playoffs, if I’m his agent that is who I am comparing him to for NFL Scouts. Parsons ran a freaky 4.36 in his 40 but Reddick, Von Miller, and Demarcus Ware were all similar size and ran in the 4.5 range and had similar college production.
At 6'3", a 7'10" wingspan would look ridiculous. His wingspan is still very big at 6'10"

I mean in the NFL players have more time, resources and $ to use towards getting their bodies in optimal shape.

College diet plan is limited to what you are provided unless you can afford to buy extra stuff on your own.
I agree there's usually some upside there but unless the program or Will were doing the wrong things, I'm just not sure how that's going to happen and for him, I'm not sure it matters. He is and will be a pass rushing specialist. Obviously you always want guys to be as big and as fast as possible but it seems like he has a really hard time gaining weight.

As far as weight is concerned, both Will Anderson and Nolan Smith are roughly the same size, and I’m not seeing anyone concerned about either of them—at least, as far as size is concerned.

Man, once he gets up an under the T his ability to keep leverage and balance, then explode, is high level NFL stuff.

Remember the thread when people were buying in to the article written by some clown that was basically saying Will was played "out of position?"

- Will broke Von F'ing Miller's Big 12 sack record
- ISUs defense was incredible
- Will's showcasing his elite pass rushing ability in this setting, which shouldn't be a surprise

Will's a 240 something pound pass rusher. It's what he is. He isn't an every down 4-3 OLB. Maybe he could become that, but probably not, and it's probably not what you want him to do. He's a pass rusher with the athleticism to drop at times, but probably in a similar way that some 4-3 teams like Cincy drop their DEs.

It's almost like our defensive staff knows more than some dork writing an NFL draft article that looks at Will's weight and says he shouldn't be a 3 man front DE - he's out of position!!!

Other than I hate the Steelers?

Well, I guess I might start to like them some with the right situation. :D

What planet is Parsons from again?

He'll likely be able to maintain weight a little better once his metabolism slows down. I mean, he's what 22 now? Give him a few years and he'll be 260.
