NFL playoffs

So, is Lamar is cheering for the Bengals tonight? If Huntley pulls this out, think the Ravens will get cheap and think they don't need to give Lamar the big payday?

Fox Sports radio guys (former NFL players) were talking about this today.
He wants Watson money and the Ravens are saying that was a dumb deal, we aren't doing that.

It's an interesting question. Would they be better with Huntley and throwing that money at other positions or keeping Jackson with their current roster? From what I've seen of Huntley, they may be better off just getting a WR or two.

He's better than Watson so that tracks. Doesn't make a lot of sense to me to not pay him unless they're rebuilding. They've built that team around that style and Jackson is the best in the league at it.

Huntley isn't the answer, their offense is down from 23ppg to 13ppg since Lamar got hurt.

It's been reported he turned down 180 million guaranteed. If true I don't blame Ravens especially given his success kind of requires him to take hits

Cause they don't have any WR's. Lamar can obviously overcome that with his running ability. But for what he's asking for, you can't build a team around that contract. So can you accept a lesser QB and surround him with talent that makes him shine. It's the Miami plan, but IMO, Huntley is a better QB than Tua.

They can still franchise him.
Guys on the radio were actually questioning his desire. When NFL guys do that, it raises an eyebrow.
