As long as we're not insinuating that Manning was calling some rogue offense CMC didn't want. The consistency with which the offense was managed tells you it was more or less in the ballpark of what the CEO wanted.
IIRC, ISU led the B12 in Time of Possession this year, so offense staying on the field a lot. Also, averaged 20 (right?) first downs a game, a smidge less than last season?

Offense wasn't a total bust this year (just mostly). Regroup behind new OC and new OL, healthy mix of newcomers (transfers), we'll see what we see. I'm interested, not abandoning ship.

Regroup and restart.

We are one season removed from having the top offense in the conference.

Are you predicting they will lead the B12 next season?

Because they weren't the top offense in the Big 12 in '21.

I wonder what the time frame is for hiring the OL coach. Are we waiting until after the early signing period?

Or are we promoting Xavier Quigley from the staff?

If I only had the sarcasm pirate.

What about Kyle Kempt, how long can someone be a Grad Asst, is there a timeframe? I'm not saying for OL coach but I wouldn't be surprised if they wanted him on staff.

If Waters was to move up in some way, then Kempt could take over his role as Quality Control/Offense.

Need 2 coaches. OL and RB? No need for a Special Teams coach. So maybe Waters gets the RBs

I saw a tweet that Jake Waters was involved in the recruitment of Arlen Harris. Which might mean he has already been promoted, because I don't think the position he was in was a position that could actively recruit.

No but he can temporary recruit because they have spots open.

Since Gordon is staying at QB coach, I could also see Scheelhaase coaching RB and Waters getting the receivers. I like the fact we have a lot of former QBs on staff for the offense.

First in conference only games total offense, ‘21.

Equivalent opponents. The only real difference being that we didn’t play our own defense.

Jake to assistant coach and Kyle to quality control offense?
