They don't seem to watch much football and take notes as to what other teams are doing to have success moving the ball AND scoring touchdowns.
Having both those guys back at 100% would make me feel confident about that position for 2023.
Isn't RB the position group on offense with the LEAST amount of concern for 2023? Getting the O-Line to perform at a level where you could believe they attend scheduled practices every week is job 1, 2, and 3.
Brock and Norton seem to be serviceable Big 12 RBs. Sanders just developing to be a 3rd string back would be nice because he's not there yet. But the overarching problem was the OL as far as the run game goes. It was pathetic. 2nd biggest issue was health.

FIFY This is all you needed to say; not that the remainder wasn't true but it would have taken more than Breece Hall to get through a pile of 18 players when more than half the pile were Cyclones.
I saw that play which was a complete lack of execution by Rus. We can't afford misplay like that.
IMO, equally or more important than adding more running backs is the need to upgrade the OL and get them to execute. The best running backs won't go anywhere until the OL execution is up to snuff.

Tulane's offense averaged 34 ppg this season. Jim Svoboda would be on a short list for me. This program was also terrible just a few years ago.

My assumption is that coaches meeting with players is happening over the next two weeks, so this is going to start trickling out at an increasing rate as we go along this week and next.
Why, is the question. Did he just suddenly forget how? Playing thru injuries? I remember a much more dynamic Jared Rus than what we got this year.
He didn’t have to block in space. More a lead back to blast a hole so it took no skill to block. Now he has to clean up holes and that is his weakness.
