Jon Heacock is a Broyles Award nominee

Is there a collective to fund Heacock’s salary so he doesn’t leave? Not season tickets or a donation to the athletic department…literally just a Venmo to Heacock directly—-I would donate heavily to that.
This is my biggest concern- will Heacock stay with the floundering offense we have? He has a championship defense/system that can work anywhere and his staff develops talent!!! Some big time programs will be after him if they aren't already.

Manning has been nominated by the other teams defensive coordinators that he helped. So hopefully if Phil Parker wins it, Manning get's some of the credit.

Indeed.

Did you read his bio?

Guy gets it done.

Yeah, I mean it's nothing that's incredible but if it were, he'd be at a bigger job and he's not exactly dealing with NFL potential. He's at least on the proven side of the proven/unproven spectrum so I think there's a pretty high floor for a guy like him. Looking at the numbers, Ohio has had a pretty decent offense. He's probably not a guy who's going to come in and give you a top 10 offense but he's someone will likely bring a more consistent offense.

Heacock has to hate Manning right?
One thing that I continually think about is self scouting. We seemingly have a mammoth chasm between the two coordinators in terms of coaching chops. You would think that Heacock could walk into Manning's office and give him the top one or two weaknesses in the offensive scheme that make them easier to defend. And maybe that's has happened and this is the improved product.

Regardless, to answer your question, if I was Heacock the offense would piss me off something furious. My guys are champions and they don't get to experience winning as much as they deserve because of your guys.
