COACH SPEAK and Matt Campbell is the king of it.

Can we just put an end to all post game and in season interviews? They are pointless and it seems Matt will take the opportunity to paint the fan base with a broad stroke. Not something I believe is productive regardless of your motives especially at Iowa State.

It's insulting and any coach should know you don't blame the fanbase. There's tens of thousands who donate and buy tickets that make a fraction of what he and many of his coaches make.

1. He’s never said anything like this before. Not sure why we can’t chalk it up to a stupid comment and/or accept the possibility that Gilbert took a lot of **** this week from our fans.

2. He’s not going to fire manning during the press conference. If we continue to suck, he will make a change.

I don't know if it is cronyism. CmC just said he has great staff talking about the offense. So he does not see an issue. If you can't score in one of the most average defensive conferences in the country, your offense has serious problem. So he will continue this next season, same result

He’s not stupid. He will make a change if needed.

I think maybe the worst thing that's happened to ISU football is getting Campbell, and being abnormally successful by Iowa State football standards in a short amount of time. Now every time we don't win 8 or 9 games it's unacceptable and we need drastic changes.

I love Campbell, but his flaws are coming to life. We are horrible and his gaps have ruined us. 2022 is finally exposing his issues. They need to be fixed or we are screwed.

Has it, though? The offense was good enough to achieve a mediocre level of success. It has been far from "solid."

It’s been good enough for our best stretch of football ever.

Whatever. We’ll all get what we deserve.

Solidly losing one possession games? Imagine last years talent with a competent OC. You’re looking at a probable Big 12 championship contender instead of 7-6…and we might not win another game this year at the rate we’re “scoring”

Last season we had honestly enough talent to make the CFP, and we just pissed it away.

Also the fan base that went nuts when Jace nailed all 3 kicks tonight......Matt, we're more roasting Manning......and you need to fire him or else you accept losing
Manning, Myers, Gordon, and whoever 'isn't' the ST coach, or any combination of the above.

The fans are rooting for the kicker. And he certainly did his part tonight. How about Campbell and the offense?
