Last year’s primetime games were electric so it only makes sense this year’s are snoozers

Will Cooper Rush end up starting somewhere else? Really impressed with him. I figured last year's win was a fluke because it was the Vikings, but he's been solid each game so far. Doesn't wow anyone, but can make all the throws. That TD throw to Lamb was tight.

More like trade Prescott and get a first rounder for him

Lol, Prescott isn’t going anywhere. Rush is doing exactly what you want in a backup qb in the NFL. Don’t be the reason they lose and make a few throws.

I’m not sure they’d get a first for him. Maybe.

They could probably get one first round pick. Most good qb's would go for several first rounders but with his injury history and contract he'd probably only get one.

That said, Dallas isn't trading him.

The problem is figuring out who they’re going to get that is fundamentally better.

The 2023 draft is supposed to be the best in years for QBs, but there are still only 2 that I’d say have a legit chance of being long-term starters in the league. I haven’t looked at draft pick order so don’t know how the Cowboys would be sitting, but there will be big competition for them.

Bryce Young and C.J. Stroud are the only two I’d hang my hat on. I’m not sold on Anthony Richardson, Will Levis, or Tyler Van Dyke for the NFL, let alone the others. And I don’t see a lot of great trade opportunities for anybody better than Dak that anybody would part with. You could make some argument for Garoppolo, but not sure he’s any more dependable than Dak.

Really surprised no one signed him when Dallas cut this summer. Even a division rival just to screw the Cowboys. They needed the roster spot until they could place vets on IR, and cut all backups to clear waivers.
