Wisconsin didn’t really have any options after Hepburn went down. Davison moved to the PG and the whining really turned up.

The cyclone on ball pressure took the badgers completely out of their game. You could see where Davison’s talent ran out and the complaining started.
I thought ISU had an advantage in the backcourt going into the game, while Wisc had the size inside. When Hepburn got hurt, that became a huge advantage. With decent refereeing, that's a 15 point ISU win and it isn't in jeopardy the last 10 minutes of the game.

If he wasn't a dirty player and just a pest, he's a guy you would want on your team. A guy like JP Macura was annoying to play against, but someone you want on your team. But dirty plays Davison has is embarrassing.

And if they make their layups...even most of them. Man, those seemed liked wasted opportunities that were going to bite us.

There is a reason he is going into coaching.... that crap will get him a fast exit from any pro league.

His dad in the crowd was a mirrored image of his son’ emotions on the court.

Davis is a talent. No question. He also forces shots. Surprised he didn’t get his bigs more involved.
Gard didn't have an answer for TJ doubling the post and taking away passing lanes in the paint.
Gard said you've got to make this defense pay by taking 3s, but Wisconsin doesn't have the team to do it. TJ exposed them.

You’d think with days to prepare they wouldn’t have $hit they’ll bed against our doubles like they did. I’m sure Gard coached it - I just think his team is soft and panicked because they hadn’t seen defense all year.

I'm going to sound old, but am only 29.

He's a punk. Plays like the world is his oyster and whines when it doesn't go his way. The literal opposite of IZB and Hunter. I get where Gard was coming from in the presser that he works hard everyday, but him whining saying I want people to remember me for the person I am was a joke. I will, you're a tool who thinks everything should go your way.

It would be interesting to hear if Gard has ever had to coach Davison on how "special" he is with his 'interactions' with officials.

Since it's been a trend it's pretty obvious Gard let it go since Davison never really got held accountable on the court for it.

Maybe it's just through the lens as an opponent but that was the worst I've seen of him.

Doesn't sound like Gard sees anything that needed to be corrected since he described him as a "coaches dream" in the postgame conference.
