Found it at Hyvee in Ankeny today, 18.99 a four pack
Picked some up in Urbandale yesterday and really like it. Has some good citrus notes mixed with a piney dank bitterness.

Everything I've had is pretty solid. I always bought it in Wisconsin, I never realized they were out of California.I've never had Modern Times beer but am very excited to try it!
I was never overally impressed with the few that I had. Fist City and Anti-Hero were just average. I had one from them call unsessionable that was pretty good. This has been over 5 years ago so maybe they've changed.
Better than the Barntown S'mores stout?Looking for the Term Oil cans. Give a shout out if you see it in the DM metro please and thanks.

Probably. Better then $20 for a 5 ounce pour of the Toppling Waters. Is that like $20 per can?

I tried it at Global Brew in DM, not sure on the taproom. Is that what they're charging? I probably only go to the taproom 2-3x per year despite being so close.
I think I paid $12 for a 5oz pour at Whiskey River in Cedar Falls when they had it on tap there. I think it's similar at TG taproom.I tried it at Global Brew in DM, not sure on the taproom.
Yeah the TW was excellent and sneaky smooth for 17% but the price…ouch. Like you said nice to try once. KBBS was around the same price at the taproom when I tried it, also excellent.I think I paid $12 for a 5oz pour at Whiskey River in Cedar Falls when they had it on tap there. It was excellent. But I think I like the Morning Latte stout more.... and not sure the cost premium is truly worth it. Nice to try it just once.
