Greetings from a Clemson fan....

I don't watch much big12, so we're even there...lol.

I wouldn't put you with them, their offenses are really good...if we scored 20, they score way more. Based on records and preseason expectations and your records I'd say UNC. Both teams likely better than your records and had some wtf type losses.

Maybe if we work hard enough, and ask just right, maybe one day Clemson fans will put us on Wake Forest’s level!

Yeah, that's probably a fair comparison, both teams ranked pre-season Top 10 then finish 7-6.

Your O scored 13. Did your D score points in all those games?

Considering the circumstances we did play really well...so will totally take this win and move on to next season.

No doubt y'all missing your RB (primarily, others too, but he is the game changing one) changed the game.

Clemson defense 100% dared y'all to run it, we had no answer for your TEs...it worked, but we all know Hall changes the game.

I'll say this, if we had Purdy as our qb we are playing Friday against Cincinnati, lol. That kid is fun to watch.

Honestly I thought you handled our TEs better than anyone has this year.

Purdy's final two seasons will be remembered by the one play of almost everyone of our loses.

As I said in another thread 5 star culture isn't just another, "keep rowing" or whatever coach speak. This team refuses to quit.

You're a real piece of work, I personally think we'd beat Wake Forest head to head with a full healthy team, but we finishedwith 3 more losses than them, our record is what it says.

All? Dunno. Against pitt and wake our d definitely handed points to our offense (but no direct defensive scores). Your defense is better than wakes, probably similar to pitt (going only off the 2 games against Clemson.) Their offenses are better though.

Are you comparing it to our O tonight? We were missing A LOT of weapons tonight. If you are comparing their O to ours tonight’s, you are really hamstringing us.

Biggest problem was the line play. This ISU offense has put up tons of points on teams with bad d-lines. And struggled mightily against teams with good d-lines.

Clemson was a really bad matchup for ISU in that regard. And look at the results. Purdy was running for his life a lot and made a couple terrible mistakes that were the difference. All down to Clemson's D-line, imho. Or poor ISU O-line play, if you prefer. I suppose it is both really.

They sent a lot. If breece is there, he would probably housed a dump pass.

No, well aware what you are missing. Likewise, we were missing 4 or 5 of our best defenders as well.

Ask me who wins if you play wake and pitt and all at full strength? Pitt and wake win (not like you couldn't beat them)...I'd also say NCSu likely favored as well. Based on this season, even full strength, you may also lose to a few others as well.

Look, I was asked, I answered.

I'd put part of that on the absence of Xavier (for the most part) and Hall. If you're the defensive coordinator in that situation, your focus has to be on stopping the TE's.
