I'm thinking 8

Sweep TCU and KState for 4. Beat OU, OSU, WVU, Tech at home feels like the bare minimum to get there. Can probably take one of Texas too since they've been slow to adjust so far.

It's hard to say. I think the only team ISU has faced that would have a shot at finishing in the top half of the conference is Xavier. They haven't faced anything like the challenge they are about to face.

We’ve had more talented teams with much higher expectations struggle to get 11 wins in this conference with round robin scheduling. Would love to be wrong and first to admit it, but I’d be ecstatic with a .500 record and the likely 5 seed that would come with it.

I'm voting 8-10, we go 6-3 in Hilton, lose to Baylor and Kansas, then some other random team like TCU like we seem to do every year because we jsut are off that day.
We go 2-7 on the road, win at TCU and Oklahoma State.
We go 1-1 in KC, then get a 7 seed in the NCAA tourney.

7-2 in Hilton, steal one on the road.

I think they can actually get a couple on the road with the defense.

I picked 7-8 but I have no idea where they come from. Hopefully two are against BU/KU/Tx types.

My 11+ prediction is dependent on no major injuries. If Brockington were to go down that would be bad. I think our defense will always be there but we’ll have difficulty scoring w/o him. Other injuries I think we’d weather the storm.
Maybe it’s also based on seeing a fundamentally sound team for the first time in a long time and I’m over optimistic.
