Arnaud or Tiller? And will coaching change affect this?

and he called my mom fat.

no honestly i just do not see why everyone loves him so much... he stats are good, but when it counts he just doesn't get it done at all. i want to see tiller because i want to believe the hype around him.

ultimately i would like to see a true 2 QB system. not like this last year with Aranud taking 75% of snaps and bates getting 25%

I guess you did not witness the 96 yard drive with 1:06 on the clock to tie the game in Vegas. We lost in overtime due to two terrible running plays on 1st and 2nd down. There are other examples out there too.

We lost the last games because of the defense. Didn't we get like over 600 yards of offense in the last game at K-State? Offense isn't the problem.

The yards are great but our offense was very disappointing in that game. We only scored 23 points in the first 59 minutes against K-State. You look at their results from this year and that's awful. Certainly not all AA's fault but he is the QB.

AA was also very bad against Oklahoma State.

Should he be the starter? Absolutely, but let's not pretend he's above losing his spot to a quality prospect like Tiller is. I could see AA being a great QB in the Big 12 the next couple years but he's got a long ways to go. This isn't meant to be hate, I really like the kid and am thankful we have him for two more years.

We averaged 25.3 ppg last year which isn't that bad, but won't cut it in the Big 12 with scoring machines like Oklahoma and TT

QB is the last position I'm worried about. Arnaud's numbers are better than Seneca's senior season and very comparable to Meyer's sophmore.

Arnaud isnt going anywhere. 100% for sure. He's got talent. "Money" will catch the ball rather than throw it. I jut hope he isnt our new T.O. We need positive influence not a spreading cancer. Lets just all hope "Money" doesnt cost us our team moral. (and can catch the ball)

We need Line men, Receivers, and 2 future Running backs out of this years recruits. We need points bad. Our ability to throw gives our RB's more room to run before contact. Fu$king up the defenses ability to just make bold guesses on run or pass. Thats where Bliel steps in and makes great D-1 ball players on the line of scrimage. more time = more points. It would be nice to have the ball in our possesion for longer than 10 mins a game. Even though Rhoads was used to that last year and still pulled 5 wins from his hat.

Austin shouldnt even be a topic of discussion unless he loses a leg because I think hes the best we've had. The plus is he's from ames.

The guy hasn't stepped foot on campus for fall practice and he's already a cancer that's going to infest our program. Sweet.

Paul Rhoads and 99 percent of the fan base disagree with that theory.

Drive 4 cy.......................Read up. and change that number 7 to a number 4 on your pic. living in the past when the futrure is brighter

From the Fresno Bee (November 20, 2008):

It was the end of October and Reedley College football coach Michael White was at a crossroads.

The Tigers were 4-3 after losing 27-17 to San Joaquin Delta in Stockton. Preseason All-America quarterback Darius Reynolds had turned into a bust and a distraction that was weighing on the team and had thrown the offense into near chaos.

"I didn't think we had much leadership and, with the distractions, we needed to make changes," White said.

The Tigers' coach kicked Reynolds and his brother, Keondric, off the team for violations of rules.

"There was so much focused on individuality. We needed people to take charge," White said.

Also from the Fresno Bee (September 16, 2008):

Here we go again. QB Darius Reynolds, plagued by injuries last year, again isn't himself after suffering a hard hit in the season opener. Reynolds is one of the most electric players in the state when he's healthy, which so far hasn't been very often.

so thats why i say that i HOPE he isnt not saying that he is going to be. the past often repeats itself

My point with the A&M situation was that Sherman installed a new system down there and it really shook some things up. I know McGee was injured for some of the season, but he also was healthy for some of it. He was benched for a couple of games while he was healthy. I heard this from a die hard A&M fan who knows his stuff. I was just speculating that if Rhoads comes in here and changes the system up, we may have to be ready for a slight makeover.

Excuse me for not reading it yesterday ******* *******

Two things happened when I read this post:

1) I now think that toughness can be measured by the number of consecutive asterisks in a post.

2) I think we should guess what it means. 7 asterisks space 7 asterisks. Was it f-ing jerkoff? How about inbread buffalo?

I'd go with the 1st one

Lets end this debate in saying that AA will be the starter, however if Tiller is 1/2 of what are saying he could be, Tiller will be on the field too. AA was a better QB when Bates was getting a couple series here and there, because AA was more aggressive on the games he knew Bates was ready to step in if he got his bell rung. When Bates "chizzed" the team, AA was not the same player = ISU getting blown out.

We hear hype about players every year, that have never saw the field. Just because you are good in practice doesnt mean you will be good in games. It also takes time to get confortable in games. That is why game time experence is hard to beat. At QB game experence helps a player out big time.

He is also talking about the plays that followed and the passing attempts.
