Great opportunity to play a top ranked team. How many offensive rebounds we give up could be scary, with alot depending on foul trouble I would guess.
Really need to George to play smart defensively.
Memphis is scary athletic. Looks like a team with multiple future pros. Really great defensively due to their athleticism, but also gambling and impatient. Have to be calm, weather the runs and big plays, and be patient.

Memphis is freakishly athletic, but does not appear disciplined and was playing a lot of one-on-one. They are beatable, but we are going to have to step it up yet another notch from tonight if we’re going to win. Our bigs could be in trouble…
They look like a really talented Steve Prohm coached team.
Memphis is likely to win, but it is not lost on me that we are one ISU victory on Friday away from the good guys cracking the AP Top 25 next week. What a hell of a way to start the Otz tenure that would be.
ISU will be 1 of 36 (or less) undefeated teams left in college basketball by the time they play on Friday.
Very much do not expect a win here. But if we do....... oh boy
The other nice thing about the win today:
The TCU football game will be over before the Memphis men’s basketball game starts. Had we lost, the basketball game would have started during the second half of the football game.
